In 2023, the Foundation for Future London has awarded a grant to The Open Art Club for its project “The Open Art Club” to run a fully funded art-program combining creative-workshops delivered by local artists with museum visits through our Medium Grant Scheme.

The Medium Grant Scheme is part of our Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, funded by Westfield Stratford City.

About the project

The Open Art Club provides a fully funded art-programs supporting both the community and local
artists. The program combines creative-workshops taking place at local art-establishments with
museum visits across London.

40 individuals will be receiving art-learning & personal development within a supportive and
inclusive atmosphere. The program will run on a weekly basis, on Tuesdays between 11am-2pm.

Participants in our program gain;

  • Enhanced accessibility and understanding of modern and contemporary art through a fun learning experience.
  • Exposure and dialogue with local artists
  • Through the program you will form new connections.
  • Engagement with art and culture in London through guided gallery and museum visits.
