Upcoming funding events — Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund
Join a funding event this November and find out how to apply to Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, our new programme to support local communities of Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest, funded by Westfield Stratford City.
The events will take place online:
- Wed 4 November Online Workshop 10am-12pm
- Wed 11 November Online Workshop 10am–12pm (with BSL interpreter)
- Wed 18 November Advice Drop In Session 10am-5.50pm
The event on 4 November is organised by East End Community Fund. The event will give you an opportunity to meet the EECF team, discuss project ideas and to ask any questions you may have about the two schemes.
The event on 11 November is organised by the Foundation. The event will give you an opportunity to meet our team and some of our East Bank partners, learn about the Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund and take part in an interactive group session.
The Advice Drop in Session on 18 November is run by the Foundation’s team. Book your 20-minute slot to talk through your project idea outline and receive support in making it the best it can be. Come with your proposals, whatever stage they are at, and ask any burning questions about the programmes.
All events are free to attend. The sessions will be informative and useful if you’re thinking about applying for funding.
Our Medium Grant Scheme and Large Grant Scheme are now open for applications until 30 November at midday. Organisations and businesses in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest are eligible to apply. We are looking for projects to help local people access education, skills development and employment opportunities.
The Medium Grant Scheme will provide grants of £5,000 to £15,000 for existing or new programmes of work in arts and culture, heritage and communities, research and innovation and/or health and wellbeing.
The Large Grant Scheme will provide grants of £15,000 to £50,000. Applications will only be accepted from partnerships and/or consortiums or projects that show a true and equitable partnership and co-designed approach and/or are cross borough projects.
