About your host

Michael Akinfisoye is a business strategist and entrepreneur who helps business owners use AI, marketing, and automation to grow and run their businesses more efficiently. As the co-founder of Scaling Edge, he has helped business owners across different industries simplify their operations, attract more customers, and increase their profits.

He previously co-founded Online Health Business Academy, where he helped over 200 personal trainers worldwide build successful online businesses from scratch. With years of experience in high-level consulting and real-world business growth, Michael is passionate about helping entrepreneurs—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds—overcome challenges and create long-lasting success on their own terms.

The programme is part of our Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund,  an award-winning innovative five-year programme that aims to invest £10 million into the local communities of Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest, supported by retail destination Westfield Stratford City. The programme has transformed and catalysed the lives and careers of over 19,000 people in East London by putting funding, resources and support straight into local people’s hands.
