New Film Showcases Our Large Grant Scheme Grantees

Our newest video celebrates the three East London projects that received £148,718 in funding in March 2021 from our Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund‘s Large Grant Scheme.

Hear from staff and participants at Sports Plus (led by Badu Community), Project Rego (led by Catalyst In Communities) and  The Line Art Walk (led by The Line), three of the projects working with young people and local communities.  Find out how our funding will make a real difference to the lives of many.

The Large Grant Scheme funds collaborative and partnership projects that will support residents in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest to use arts and culture, heritage and communities, research and innovation, technology, education, and/or creative placemaking to create access to education, skills & training development, lifelong learning and employment opportunities.

The scheme offers up to £50,000 for projects that work collaboratively across a range of partners and communities and is open now for applications as part of Year 2 of our programme until 3 December 2021.

Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund is an ambitious five-year programme that aims to invest £10 million into the local communities of Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest, supported through a generous donation from Westfield Stratford City. This flagship project will provide new jobs, learning, training and educational programmes through the means of arts, culture, innovation, public realm and creative placemaking.
