Board member
Ciara Solmi was appointed Director of Marketing, Corporate Affairs & Communications, Northern Europe, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) in September 2025, having previously led the Communications function for the UK since 2020.
Since joining Westfield in 2009, she held several pivotal communications and marketing roles, including overseeing PR for major brand launches, managing communications and public affairs for C-Suite team members and leading the marketing and hospitality programme for the company’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Her strategic insight and leadership have made her a key member of the region’s Leadership Team. Before her tenure at URW, Ciara was with EY for five years in Marketing and Sponsorship.
Ciara sits on the Corporate Affairs Advisory Panel for the British Property Federation and is the UK business sponsor for URW’s diversity network ‘Be You’. As part of her community commitments, she heads up the Foundation’s Communications & Marketing Committee as a Board member, and she sits on the board of local early years provision in EdCity, White City – Harmony Neighbourhood Nursery.
