Cultural leader with over 20 years of expertise in collaborating with artists and arts organisations to deliver groundbreaking arts and culture programmes.
Currently Interim Head of Culture, Events, Tourism, Heritage for Royal Borough of Greenwich. Prior to this, Head of Arts and Culture for the major HS2 (High Speed Train) programme. Anne developed the vision and programme for an inclusive public art and culture strategy, which will deliver a lasting cultural legacy as part of the construction programme. As Head of Culture for the Nine Elms Vauxhall Partnership, she delivered the cultural strategy for one of London’s most significant regeneration areas.
Anne was previously Director of Vital Arts, the pioneering creative health organisation for Barts Health NHS Trust, the largest NHS Trust in the UK. Under her stewardship, Vital Arts won numerous awards for its commissioning of art and design to improve the well-being of patients and staff. Prior to joining Vital Arts, Anne was the Director of North Kensington Arts. This culture-led regeneration programme targeted support for local young people, providing routes into employment in the creative industries.
Anne is a member of Arts Council England’s London Area Council, an expert panel member for Barts Heritage and a former trustee for London Arts and Health Forum.
