Sustainable Fashion Factory

Delivered by Cassie Quinn

In 2022, the Foundation for Future London has awarded a grant to Cassie Quinn for project “Sustainable Fashion Factory” for young people in Tower Hamlets through our Small Grant Scheme.

Sustainable Fashion Factory will support young people aged between 15-25 to develop a creative portfolio through interactive workshops to demonstrate individual points of view on what sustainability in fashion represents for the next generation of creatives.

The Small Grant Scheme is part of our new Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, funded by Westfield Stratford City.

The project meets two of our scheme’s key themes, Young People and Learning Opportunities.

About the project

Sustainable Fashion Factory will support young people aged between 15-25 to develop a creative portfolio through interactive workshops to demonstrate individual points of view on what sustainability in fashion represents for the next generation of creatives.

Workshops will be delivered at Spotlight Youth Centre and will offer classes on upcycling textiles, biomaterials, recycled materials, as well as CV support and opportunities to exhibit their work.
