About the lead partners

  • You Press
  • The Centre of Development for Disabilities CIC
You Press CIC is a community-led social enterprise based in East London. It works alongside young people aged 11–30 and underrepresented communities to create space for their voices to be heard — on their own terms.

Through creative arts, media, training and writing, You Press challenges harmful stereotypes and opens up new ways for people to tell their stories. It is grounded in the belief that words and stories matter, and that when people are supported to speak for themselves, meaningful change becomes possible — for individuals and for communities.

The Centre for Developmental Disabilities (CDD) supports young people with developmental delays and disabilities to grow, connect and thrive. Working in partnership with You Press, CDD is committed to inclusive, community-focused support that recognises the whole person — emotionally, physically and developmentally.

Together, You Press and CDD create welcoming, supportive environments where young people are valued, listened to and encouraged to reach their full potential.
