Westfield Better Futures Launch Event: Shape the Programme
Join us for the launch of Westfield Better Futures — a new sustainability programme delivered in partnership with Westfield Stratford City and Foundation for Future London, launching as part of Great Big Green Week 2026.
Bringing together organisations, educators, businesses, creatives and changemakers working across sustainability and climate action, this event is an opportunity to connect, share ideas, and help shape what comes next.
We’re inviting individuals and organisations working across areas including net zero, renewable energy, environmental science, circular fashion, climate justice, recycling, clean tech and sustainable supply chains to be part of the conversation.
Together, we’ll explore how collaboration can drive meaningful change through green skills training, school and student engagement, public activations and thought leadership across the year ahead.

About the programme
Westfield Better Futures is a one‑year creative, skills and community impact programme powered by Westfield Stratford City and delivered with Foundation for Future London. Using dedicated investment, it creates hands‑on, creative, digital and environmentally focused opportunities for local people across East London.
Through practical workshops, cultural programming, circular fashion initiatives, green skills training and school‑to‑career pathways, Westfield Better Futures strengthens the local creative ecosystem while opening new routes into future‑facing industries.
By uniting retailers, educators and grassroots partners, the programme turns investment into impact, helping East London communities flourish in a more sustainable, connected and resilient way.
Westfield Better Futures builds on our award-winning Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, a five-year programme that successfully invested £10 million into the local communities of Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest, supported by retail destination Westfield Stratford City.

Maximum 40 places. Please register yourself and up to two others from your organisation. This event is free and open to individuals, organisations and businesses working across the London Boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge. Please note that if you can’t make it, we’d be grateful if you could cancel your ticket to make space for others.
