Family Picnic in the Park with Sadler’s Wells

This year we proudly supported an exciting performance by Motionhouse, presented by our partners Sadler’s Wells, at this year’s Big Lunch, a fun, free, family day out in the Park.

With a Rio theme, audiences were encouraged to get into the spirit of the Games, with activities bringing the Brazilian spirit to Stratford.

Sadler’s Wells presented Motionhouse’s Captive, an exciting blend of dance, acrobatics and aerial work set inside a large cage, for more on their performance head to Sadler’s Wells’ blog. Studio Wayne McGregor, who have recently taken up residence on the Park, performed an excerpt from their mesmerising piece ‘FAR.’
