Delivered by Young Urban Arts Foundation
In 2021, the Foundation for Future London is supporting “YUAF Futures” by Tower Hamlets-based Young Urban Arts Foundation through our Medium Grant Scheme.
This scheme is part of our new Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, funded by Westfield Stratford City.
YUAF Futures will support young people from margalised communities (BAME, LQBTQI and those in poverty) and provide pathways into training and employment, working in Tower Hamlets and Hackney.
YUAF Futures will support young people from margalised communities (BAME, LQBTQI and those in poverty) and provide pathways into training and employment.
YUAF has identified the need for further support to match young people into opportunities that will help them become more employable. We will work closely with a large number of corporate brands and local youth organisations to identify work placement opportunities.
Being conscious of the current climate due to COVID-19, we know that employment opportunities may be minimal, so this programme is focused on getting young people employment ready. We will develop relationships with creative brands and corporate partners so that when opportunities arise, we are informed and can make the appropriate match.
