In 2022, the Foundation for Future London has awarded a grant to Yucan CIC for its project “The Young Carer Space Project” for children in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham Forest through our Small Grant Scheme.
YUCAN will work with 80 child carers. They’ll make friends and have fun while learning about their rights and entitlements through designing their own creative care plans.
The Small Grant Scheme is part of our new Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, funded by Westfield Stratford City.
The project meets one of our scheme’s key themes, Young People.
