In 2022, the Foundation for Future London has awarded a grant to STEAMLabs Hackney CIC for its project “Shining a Light on Creative Science” for young people in Hackney through our Small Grant Scheme.
“Shining a Light on Creative Science” is a project for children aged 7-12 targeting the under-represented in science. Artists and scientists will collide, in a cross-curricular, exciting approach, to demonstrate how light interacts with our lives.
The Small Grant Scheme is part of our new Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, funded by Westfield Stratford City.
The project meets two of our scheme’s key themes, Young People and Learning Opportunities.
