Delivered by Art Clubbers
In 2020 & 2021, we are supporting the “S.Y.N.C.” project by Art Clubbers CIC through our Connecting People and Places funding, co-funded by City of London.
“S.Y.N.C.” is a project that will develop 10 young adults aged 19-25 years old as ‘Creative Leaders’ through training from industry experts, who will then deliver workshops to the younger generatons in Tower Hamlets.
We awarded the “S.Y.N.C.” project a grant as it meets many of Connecting People and Places’s themes and priorities including creative learning, collaboration, participation, diversity, employment, training, engagement, partnerships.
The project also focuses on young people, in particular Black, Asian and ethnically diverse people, which are some of the marginalised beneficiaries we want to reach.
S.Y.N.C (Skills Youth Network Create) offers an experiential and spectacular approach to helping young Londoners thrive in the 21st century workplace through embedding fusion skills into budding creatives.
Young people aged 19-25 years old will develop as ‘Creative Leaders’ through training from industry experts. The newly equipped Creative Leaders will go on to undertake a progressive journey to deliver personal workshops.
Applications now open for 10 young artists, designers, performers and creatives to join Art Clubber’s latest programme, S.Y.N.C.
As a Creative Leader you will have the opportunity to receive paid training on facilitation and to deliver online workshops to the younger generations living in and around Tower Hamlets, London.
By infusing and syncing your discipline to the specified skill listed below, you’ll help come up with creative ideas to engage and prepare the young people to not only develop knowledge on the creative practice but also a crucial skill for them to progress.
