Cardboard Collective

Delivered by Cardboard Citizens

In 2024, the Foundation for Future London awarded a grant to Cardboard Citizens for its project “Cardboard Collective” through our Large Grant Scheme. Cardboard Collective is a new music programme for 30 unheard artists and creative producers aged 16-25 with experience of homelessness and poverty in London.

The Large Grant Scheme is part of our Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, funded by Westfield Stratford City.

About the project

Cardboard Collective is a new music programme for 30 unheard artists and creative producers aged 16-25 with experience of homelessness and poverty in London.

The programme supports local young people, many of whom will be working with Cardboard Citizens for the first time.

Our young Members experience a range of challenging issues and we expect our group over the next 12 months to mirror this: participants are likely to be Not in Education Employment or Training, in care/care leavers, experiencing mental health issues and isolated, and have limited support networks, economic and cultural opportunities.
