Press and marketing guidance for Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund projects

This is a dedicated marketing resource for grant recipients of the Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, advising on logos, social media, press and marketing support.

Logos

For marketing, we ask that you use the grant scheme logo, Foundation for Future London’s logo and Westfield Stratford City’s logo. There are three logos to use on all marketing in total. We are providing the logos to use in a unified lockup, with three variations, as shown below:

Option 1
Option 2
Option 3

Download logo strips and brand guidelines

We ask that you use all three logos for websites, print and digital marketing, social media asssets and other digital and physical displays.

If there is not enough space for the three logos, please use the wording ‘Supported by Foundation for Future London’s Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, funded by Westfield Stratford City.’

Foundation for Future London

Foundation for Future London is an independent charity established to connect the local communities of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with the new East Bank and its globally renowned arts, culture and educational partners to ensure equitable opportunities and fair regeneration in East London. They do this through a genuine commitment to an innovative participatory grant-making approach, capacity-building objectives and sustainable development.

Since launching in 2015, the Foundation for Future London has connected people, places and institutions, from street markets and homeless shelters to galleries and auditoriums. The Foundation for Future London is dedicated to creating new creative employment and transformative life chances for people living, working, and studying in East London.

Westfield Stratford City

Westfield Stratford City, which opened in September 2011, is the most popular retail and leisure destination in the UK, attracting 50 million shoppers annually. Located at the gateway to the Queen Elizabeth Park, with spectacular views over London, Westfield Stratford City is home to leading UK and international brands including JD Sports, John Lewis & Partners, Under Armour and H&M and is home to over 280 stores and more than 80 dining options.

Westfield Stratford City has been a catalyst to the regeneration of East London. As one of the first pieces of the London 2012 Olympic legacies, by 2027, it’s estimated that £25bn will be invested in the area.

The local community is at the heart of Westfield Stratford City and in addition to supporting local charities, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield partnered with the London Borough of Newham to establish The Skills Place Newham. Managed by Seetec, the retail academy focuses on providing employment for the local community and the long-term unemployed. In 2019 Westfield Stratford City became a Founding Partner and Official Sponsor of the East Bank project to deliver jobs, learning and training opportunities for East London. Together with Foundation for Future London the Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund was established – a £10m, five-year programme powered by URW that will provide 19,000 new jobs, learning, training and educational opportunities through the means of art, culture, innovation and creative placemaking.

In creating Westfield Stratford City, a commitment was made to achieving high standards in sustainability and the scheme is setting a new benchmark for an urban retail led development by housing its own Combined Cooling and Heating Power (CCHP) plant on site.
