Press and marketing guidance for Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund projects

Welcome to your dedicated marketing hub for grantees of the Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund. This is where we help you amplify your projects — from logos and social media to press support — in a way that’s aligned, thoughtful, and rooted in partnership.
Logos & Branding
- Use three logos in all your communications: Foundation for Future London, the Creative Futures Fund, and Westfield Stratford City.
- We’ve created a “lock-up” (logo strip) in three versions — choose the one that works best for your space (print, digital, social).
- If space is tight, you can use this phrasing instead: “Supported by Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, funded by Westfield Stratford City and Foundation For Future London.”

Foundation for Future London
Foundation for Future London is an independent charity that connects people, ideas and investment to create real, lasting change. We bring together the talent and ambition of East Londoners with the opportunities, organisations and industries that can open doors and transform lives.
From Hackney to Newham, Tower Hamlets to Waltham Forest, this region is full of creativity, culture and potential. We help match that energy with partners who can elevate it — linking people to projects in the arts, creative industries, heritage, local environments, sport, digital and data.
But we’re not just a funder. We build. We support. We help people grow. Our programmes are shaped alongside local residents. We help people develop skills, build confidence, lead change, find safe spaces, tell their stories and influence decisions that impact their lives. Every project is created with communities, not for them.
Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund
The Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund is a bold five-year investment strengthening creativity and opportunity across Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest. With £10 million directed into locally led projects, the programme supports new jobs, learning pathways, training and creative education shaped by and for East London communities. Through arts, culture, innovation, public realm activity and creative placemaking, the fund is designed to open doors, nurture talent and put resources directly into the hands of local people. Supported by Westfield Stratford City and delivered by Foundation for Future London, this flagship programme is about shifting power, widening access and creating long-term impact across East London.
Westfield Stratford City
Since opening in September 2011, Westfield Stratford City has rapidly become the UK’s leading retail and leisure destination, attracting 50 million visitors annually. Positioned at the gateway to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the centre offers stunning views of London and houses over 315 stores and 80 dining outlets. The centre is a cornerstone of East London’s revitalisation, and a lasting legacy of the London 2012 Olympics. By 2027, a projected £25 billion will have been invested in the area, further underscoring the centre’s pivotal role in the region’s ongoing transformation. Committed to community impact, Westfield Stratford City collaborates closely with the London Borough of Newham. Together, they founded The Skills Place Newham, a retail academy managed by Seetec, aimed at reducing long-term unemployment in the local community. In 2019, the centre became a Founding Partner and Official Sponsor of the East Bank project, which drives employment, education, and training in East London. Additionally, through a partnership with the Foundation for Future London, the Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund was established—a £10 million, five-year initiative by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. This programme aims to create 19,000 new jobs and provide extensive learning, training, and educational opportunities through arts, culture, innovation, and creative placemaking. In its development, Westfield Stratford City has been at the forefront of sustainable urban retail initiatives. The centre operates its own Combined Cooling and Heating Power (CCHP) plant on-site, reflecting its commitment to environmental responsibility and setting a benchmark for future projects.
