Newham Heritage Month
Newham Heritage Month is a local heritage festival that takes place each year, showcasing the rich and diverse heritage of Newham. In 2020, Newham Heritage Month was delivered as an online festival, and plans for May 2021 are currently building. With support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Areas of Focus, the borough have also established a community grants programme, helping to build capacity until 2024.
The New Curators Project is a part of the teams’ Outreach Programme and it is planned that it will run each year as part of Newham Heritage Month.
