Jerk & Juice, founded by local celebrity Chef Gary Tomlin, is a Caribbean restaurant with a difference. As well as bringing his forefathers’ recipes to our east London streets, Gary does charity work addressing food poverty and disengaged youth across our under-resourced working-class communities.

We’re embedded in our community and care passionately about helping the younger generation. Collectively, we have first-hand experience of losing loved ones to violent crimes or others serving lengthy custodial sentences.

Founder Gary says cooking ‘saved’ him. As a local father of five, and a restaurant owner in the area he grew up in, Gary is determined to support the youth on his doorstep.
