Xenogenesis is an early-stage youth-led social enterprise that inspires and empowers 11–18-year-olds through Afrofuturism-based art, theatre, and performance. To be Afrofuturism, our workshops combine science fiction, history, and fantasy to explore the uniqueness and innovation of Black culture.

Our aim is to be in partnership with schools, community groups and youth organisations to deliver creative workshops that will enable young people to create and stage a devised futuristic performance inspired by the reality they want for themselves.

We believe if the futuristic stories we imagine allow everyone to exist liberated, then we will be more inspired to make that world a reality. At Xenogenesis we let our imagination take flight so we can find our way back to the future.
