Designed by HERSANA, this workshop supports services, community groups, businesses, and members of the public to understand the power of becoming an active bystander. The session equips participants to recognise and challenge misogynistic behaviour in everyday situations, and to safely stand up against discrimination across protected characteristics, including gender, sexuality, and ethnicity.
Minimum age to attend: 13.

In this 2-hour session, you will:

  • Learn how to recognise and challenge misogynistic, anti-social, and discriminatory behaviour

  • Understand how these behaviours affect safety and inclusion

  • Gain practical tools to intervene safely and confidently

  • Explore support and resources for those affected

What to expect

Through film, role-play, and guided scenarios, you’ll build confidence in becoming an active bystander and supporting safer, more respectful spaces for everyone.
