7 April 2021
By Amy Glass

EXTENDED DEADLINE

The Foundation for Future London is recruiting a Development and Database Officer to inspire others with our mission and make a critical contribution to our fundraising strategy and help further invest in underserved communities in and around the vibrant new East Bank cultural quarter in East London, on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The role will be full-time (five days a week), with salary of £24,000-£27,000 per annum.

We are an agile organisation and offer flexible working options to our staff (remotely/from home/at the office); however, since March 2020 Covid-19 lockdown, our team has been working from home and will continue to do so until it is safe.

The deadline for applications is midday on Monday 10 May 2021 (extended from original deadline of 26 April 2021).

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed non-profit professional early in their career to gain experience of a wide range of fundraising, programme and communications functions in the context of an arts, culture, education and placemaking charity.

The post holder will identify potential donors, provide donor research, assist with grant administration and database management, and ensure data from external sources is imported into Raiser’s Edge and other bespoke grant management systems in a timely and efficient manner. The post holder will also have responsibility for the accurate recording of donations, Gift Aid claims and correspondence with donors.

This post is suitable for someone who has worked or volunteered in a fundraising environment for one year and who wishes to develop a career in fundraising and grant-giving programmes.

Foundation for Future London values equality and diversity and welcomes applications from candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
