Watch a new film about our Year 2 grantees
In case you missed out, check out our new film about three grantees from Year 2 of the Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund. Hear East London arts and culture organisations Eastside, Loop Labs and True Cadence talk about the work they do to help get local people involved, learn new skills and get creative.
The film was directed by Chris Baker, working with Editor Will Cole and Colourist Harvey Gibson.
Small Grant Scheme – True Cadence, Kids Create project for Tower Hamlets
True Cadence is a music business social enterprise based in East London. They provide support, structured learning, mentoring and tailored artistic development to 8-25-year-olds from under-resourced communities. Our beneficiaries build skills, grow in confidence, and lessen risk-taking behaviours while realising their potential and becoming music ‘industry-ready’.
Large Grant Scheme – Loop Labs, Flourish project in Newham
Loop Labs is a not-for-profit organisation in Waltham Forest working on improving the quality of life for Londoners. Green Forest Gate is a partnership between the Forest Gate Community Garden and Loop Labs.
Capital Grant Scheme – Eastside, capital project in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest
Eastside is an arts organisation that works with children and young people in and out of school to provide high quality arts and culture learning experiences.
Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund
The Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund is an ambitious five-year programme that aims to invest £10 million into the local communities of Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest, thanks to retailer Westfield Stratford City, delivered by Foundation for Future London.
