Fusion Futures Skills Exchange – Call for creative practitioners and businesses

Join us for an afternoon bringing together businesses and creative practitioners to explore skills development work for young people aged 16-19 on Thursday 31 March at the Good Growth Hub in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Culture Mile, Foundation for Future London and the Barbican are hosting a skill swapping event with a focus on supporting young people, as part of the Fusion Futures programme.

Are you looking to increase the value you create for young people aged 16-19?

Are you a socially conscious business, or an artist who believes in the transformative power of creative skills?

Through awareness of identity, experience and skills, we seek to empower young people to learn and connect in any endeavour they set their mind to. We believe that by demonstrating cross-boundary collaboration between culture and commerce, we inspire our young people to work together for the future.

Join us for an afternoon making those new connections that are fundamental to innovative thinking around skills development for young people. We welcome everyone who is looking to develop their engagement work with young people aged 16-19.

We are also searching for new artist-industry partnerships to work on our Fusion Futures programme, working with young people aged 16-18 to build the skills needed for the future of work.

Book your place now to register your interest as a business or creative. Applications to take part are welcomed from anyone 18+ and people of all backgrounds and experiences. When you sign up, we will ask you about previous work with young people and what you hope to develop from the event.

‍The Skills Exchange event is part of the Fusion Futures programme, which is co-funded by the Foundation for Future London and delivered in partnership with the Barbican. A special thanks to the Good Growth Hub and A New Direction.

‍The Skills Exchange event, Thursday 31 March 2022, 2.30pm until 5pm. Venue: Good Growth Hub, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Unit 1-28 Echo Building, East Bay Lane, London, E15 2SJ
