Networking and Funding Launch event photos

This month, we had a fantastic day at our Networking and Funding Launch at The Source, Stratford, part of the Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund.

Together with our local communities, new and old grantees, stakeholders, funders and partners, local authority representatives, and many others, we celebrated the final year of the Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund and reflected on our achievements as an organisation.

It was wonderful to come together to share the exciting developments afoot, including the soon-to-be-announced COLLABORATE commission, and discuss some of the key issues affecting our work across various sectors, specifically tackling the issue of safe spaces. The rooms were abuzz with discussion, great ideas and networking.

A huge thanks to Community Ambassadors Tiwa King (Lead) and Jazal Babar for hosting and supporting, as well as our Community Grants Panel member Nassim Onsori and recent alumni from the Cultural Producers Programme Kevin Audience, who both helped behind the scenes, plus the excellent venue, The Source.

It was also lovely to see other partners and grantees there too including Lisa Stepanovic, Sakshi Chandrasekhar from The Social Investment Consultancy, JR Josephs from SirLute and Kianu Glasgow, Aaliyah Glasgow, Janine Mensah and Alanis Hernandez Vasquez from DICE, along with the staff and Trustees of Foundation for Future London.
