Mayor of London launches ‘Make London’ £500k crowdfunding initiative

Now more than ever, London needs new ideas, creators, doers and makers to help our city recover and grow stronger. That’s why the Mayor of London has launched Make London — a brand new £500k crowdfunding initiative to support and empower Londoners to play a leading role in our recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.

Make London gives you the opportunity to pitch new ideas – big or small – to fund community-led projects to help your local area recover from the COVID-19 crisis.

This programme delivers on the London Recovery Board’s ‘Building Strong Communities’ and ‘High Streets for All’ mission objectives.

We want to support creative, locally-led proposals which bring people together, improve public spaces and support community hubs and high streets.

Read on for more information on what kinds of projects we’re looking to support and how to get involved.
