Fusion Futures: Teaching creativity, communication and collaboration

1 February 2023
By Amy Glass

Join this free teacher CPD session to gain ideas and confidence on how to embed creativity, communication and collaboration into your classroom. You’ll try out some fun practical exercises and hear from artists and educators on how they’ve used this approach and the resulting impact it’s had on students.

The session will include a workshop by artist and grantee Natasha Zielazinski on the process of effective collaboration, a workshop by Adisa The Verbaliser on how he uses words and poetry with young people and a panel discussion.

Research shows that these skills are increasingly critical to the 21st-century workplace.

Open to any teachers working with young people in KS3 – KS5, it’s particularly relevant for teachers of arts subjects (including but not limited to art, design technology, drama, music and media), those with an interest in how they can use artistic practice in their teaching and those delivering careers provision in line with Gatsby Benchmarks.
