Foundation’s CEO to give keynote speech ‘Inclusive London’ for Real Estate Live UK
We are delighted to share the news that Foundation for Future London’s CEO Maria Adebowale-Schwarte will be delivering a keynote speech called ‘Inclusive London’ for this year’s Real Estate Live UK on Wednesday 23 February 2022.
Real Estate Live UK is a series of free, virtual events designed to keep the UK’s property and regeneration sectors talking and showcase the number of investment opportunities present around the country.
Maria’s keynote speech will explore the following:
Is London inclusive? London has, in recent decades, become one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the world, and people with a wide variety of incomes call the Capital home. How is London ensuring it is able to cater for all? How can it meet its ambitions for affordable housing? How can it ensure that both the old and young can find the right housing for their needs, with the right facilities nearby? How can the built environment across the city bring communities together?
Her talk will draw on the work of the Foundation for Future London as a funder, creative placemaker and fundraiser for the vibrant East London boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.
Paul Scully MP, Minister for London, will also be speaking alongside Maria.
Having first started in June 2020 in response to the lockdown, Real Estate Live is now one of the leading virtual platforms for the industry.
With more than 2,000 delegates from the public and private sector anticipated to attend across the three days of more than 15 virtual events for our next event 22 – 24 February, industry-leading speakers will share their insight in interactive virtual panels – discussing what can be done during what remains a critical time for the property and regeneration sectors and how the UK can continue to thrive now and in the future.
