Elevate Fund now open for applications from young people and youth organisations

East London youth collective Elevate has announced the Elevate Fund, supported with generous funding from Spirit of 2012, and in collaboration with Foundation for Future London.

The Elevate Fund will distribute grants to fund impactful projects that help young people and youth-invested organisations from Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

There are three awards in the Elevate Fund:

• Young Person Award: 16 to 25-years-olds can apply for up to £500, to be spent to reach a specific educational or developmental goal through the purchase of equipment or support
• Catalyst for Change Award: Up to £2k for organisations and individuals that want to tackle root problems
• Breakthrough Award: Between £5K and £15K to youth-led and youth-invested organisations

Applications are open until 2 June. Decisions will be announced by 31 August.

The decision panel will be made up of Elevate Board members with input from key stakeholders from London Legacy Development Corporation and Foundation for Future London.

Young Person Awards

Are you aged between 16 and 25? Do you want funding?

Apply for up to £500 with our Young Person Award, to reach a specific education or developmental goal. This could be through purchasing a course, equipment or other support.

Catalyst for Change

Do you have a project or organisation that could tackle a key issue facing young people today? You can apply to the Catalyst for Change Award for £2,000 to make your idea a reality!

Breakthrough Award

Are you a registered organisation with a track record and an ambition to make a difference? Apply to the Breakthrough Award for between £5,000 and £15,000.

In order to apply for this award, you must attend an informal workshop on how to write your application.
