Apply for Artillery’s Same Sky Artist Residency
Foundations Programme grantee Artillery has an exciting new artist residency opportunity for June-July 2021 to explore sustainable, creative outdoor practices in this new professional development programme. The focus of the residencies is to create participatory work with and for audiences in urban outdoor spaces.
4 artists will be selected to take part. Artists will receive a bursary of £1500 to support their costs for participating, materials and other costs for developing their pilot. The residencies offer space for creative experimentation that can be tested in public space as part of the E17 Art Trail 2021.
This is an opportunity to connect, play, imagine, prototype and discover with other artists and with the community of Waltham Forest. The residency programme includes 4 facilitated days of provocations, exercises, discussion, and self-directed time in a dedicated venue.
If you are interested in this opportunity, it’s recommended you attend the Imagination Exchange event on Wednesday 19 May.
Same Sky Artist Residencies are made possible through the support of Barbican and Arts Council England.
Deadline 5pm 21 May.
